BIUU – Bund Showroom

Situated on the Bund, this hybrid showroom/workspace for the hip fashion brand Biuu combines a neo-industrial rawness of material, with space-age and sci-fi formal aesthetics.

A weave of custom-built metal rails criss-cross the main showroom area, acting as support for floating clothes display. Light strips interlace and diffuse onto rich, textured materials of the floor and ceiling, adding abstract layers to serve as an exciting backdrop to the elegant fashion pieces.

The resulting space suggests both high-tech, metaphysical poetry and down-to-earth practicality, both staples of Biuu’s own design philosophy.
