Located in the vibrant center of Sanlitun Village, in Beijing, this particular boutique of Lady M adopts a different style and atmosphere, adapting to a youthful, dynamic context, and embracing crossover opportunities with the art world.
Overlooking the main entrance square of the outdoor mall, the design makes use of pure, minimal geometries, generating gallery-like successions of spaces and views. The facade, in a departure from the usual classical style, is more sculptural, and integrates an elegant display window for micro art installations. The overall scheme aims to evoke lightness, plasticity, thus reinforcing the products, and the special zones throughout the store.
At the focal point of the design, a crossover space which gives guests the opportunity to snap a quick photograph or selfie with an ever-changing backdrop. The space is curated in collaboration with local art institutions (for example, Beijing’s Today Art Museum) to create a dynamic area which, on subsequent visits, will never be the same.
